HBCU CRWNS was created from a real experience.

After transferring from a PWI to Florida A&M University, the founder felt the difference immediately. At a HBCU, culture was not something to explain. It was something lived, protected, celebrated, and carried forward.

During that same season, the founder began a loc journey and noticed what was missing. The apparel available in bookstores did not fully recognize the reality of the black experience, the delicate intricacies of our hair textures, our need for social status and fashion.

So HBCU CRWNS was built to create what the experience deserved.

Every piece is made with intention — from silk-infused details and premium materials to school-specific designs that carry meaning beyond the logo. The brand exists for the students, alums, and supporters who know their school choice was never small.

For You, By Us.

HBCU CRWNS is not ordinary collegiate apparel.
It is care in every detail.
Purpose in every piece.
