The NCA&T Mesh Basketball Shorts are made from heavyweight dry-hand mesh with a relaxed, above-the-knee fit. Twill appliqué NCA&T lettering sits over an embroidered Aggies script, with a sublimated stained-glass side panel carrying the Aggie Bulldog on one leg and the Black College Matters graphic on the other. The 91 leg number holds the 1891 founding year. Zippered side pockets, a ribbed multi-stripe waistband, and contrast leg trim finish it.

After transferring from a PWI to Florida A&M University, the founder felt the difference immediately. At a HBCU, culture was not something to explain. It was something lived, protected, celebrated, and carried forward.
During that same season, the founder began a loc journey and noticed what was missing. The apparel available in bookstores did not fully recognize the reality of the black experience, the delicate intricacies of our hair textures, our need for social status and fashion.
So HBCU CRWNS was built to create what the experience deserved.
